Pretzel Cowboy Sliders (Printable Version)

Savory mini pretzel buns with beef, jalapeños, bacon and cheese, topped with crispy onions and cowboy butter.

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Mixture

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1/2 yellow onion, diced
03 - 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
04 - 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning
05 - 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

→ Assembly

07 - 1 package (9 count) pretzel slider buns
08 - 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
09 - 6 slices thick-cut bacon, crumbled
10 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
11 - 1 cup crispy fried onions
12 - 1 recipe cowboy butter, divided

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - In a skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion, minced garlic, hamburger seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt for 8-10 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
03 - Split pretzel buns and place bottoms in prepared baking dish. Brush with cowboy butter. Layer with cooked beef mixture, jalapeño slices, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and crispy fried onions. Place top buns over the filling.
04 - Brush top buns with additional cowboy butter. Cover dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove foil and continue baking for 3-5 minutes until golden. Serve with remaining cowboy butter.

01 - Make cowboy butter without lemon juice for this recipe.
02 - Can prepare ahead and refrigerate, then bake when ready to serve.
