01 - 8 ounces pappardelle or wide fettuccine

→ Proteins

02 - 1 pound spicy Italian sausage

03 - 1 medium onion, sliced
04 - 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
05 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced
06 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Liquids

07 - 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
08 - 1/2 cup white wine
09 - Olive oil as needed

10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
12 - 3 teaspoons parsley flakes
13 - 1/4 cup basil leaves, sliced

# Steps:

01 - Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat oil in a large skillet and brown sausage until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté onion, peppers, and garlic with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes until vegetables are softened.
