Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely and the mixture comes to a boil.

Divide the syrup into separate bowls and add different gel food coloring to each portion, stirring to incorporate fully.

Working with one color at a time, pour colored syrup over the popcorn and stir quickly to coat evenly before the syrup hardens.

Spread the coated popcorn on silicone mats or parchment-lined baking sheets to cool and harden completely.
