Cheesy Pizza Pockets (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce
02 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent rolls
04 - 1/2 cup pepperoni or preferred toppings (mushrooms, sausage, diced peppers)

→ Seasonings and Toppings

05 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian herbs
06 - 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil, for brushing
08 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface. For crescent rolls, separate into triangles. For pizza dough, cut into 8 equal rectangles.
03 - Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each dough piece. Top with shredded mozzarella and add pepperoni or other toppings of choice.
04 - Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the filling. Fold each dough piece to create a pocket and firmly seal edges using a fork.
05 - Brush tops with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
06 - Allow pockets to cool slightly before serving. Optionally serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
