01 - 2 large white onions
02 - 3 slices mozzarella cheese
03 - 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
04 - 5 eggs
05 - 2 cups (230g) breadcrumbs

# Steps:

01 - Slice onions into 1/2-inch rings. Make pairs with smaller ring inside larger.
02 - Cut mozzarella into strips. Fill gap between rings with cheese. Freeze 1 hour.
03 - Set up breading station: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
04 - Coat rings in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and breadcrumbs for extra crispy coating.
05 - Freeze until solid.
06 - Heat oil to 350°F. Fry until golden brown.
07 - Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara.
