Bang Bang Chicken Skewers (Printable Version)

Juicy chicken skewers coated in a creamy, sweet-spicy bang bang sauce that's perfect for dinner or as an appetizer.

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Bang Bang Sauce

07 - 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
08 - 2/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
09 - 2 teaspoons Sriracha
10 - 2 tablespoons honey

→ Equipment

11 - Wooden skewers (soaked in water)

# Steps:

01 - Toss cubed chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt and black pepper until evenly coated.
02 - Thread 4-5 pieces of seasoned chicken cubes onto each pre-soaked wooden skewer.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha and honey until smooth. Divide the sauce in half, reserving one portion for serving.
04 - Brush chicken skewers generously with half of the prepared bang bang sauce.
05 - Cook skewers in air fryer at 200°C (400°F) for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
06 - Brush cooked chicken skewers with the reserved portion of bang bang sauce before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can be made in conventional oven (200°C/400°F for 20-25 minutes) or on a grill
02 - Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent burning
03 - Recipe yields approximately 1 3/4 cups of bang bang sauce
