01 -
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. Add warm milk, eggs, and melted butter. Knead thoroughly until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Cover and allow to rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
02 -
In a medium bowl, mix together finely chopped walnuts, pistachios, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
03 -
Roll dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Brush entire surface with melted butter, then evenly distribute the nut filling. Roll tightly from the long edge to form a log. Cut into 12 strips, twist each strip, then coil into a bun shape.
04 -
Arrange buns in a greased baking pan, leaving space between each. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
05 -
While buns are baking, combine honey, water, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat. Pour warm syrup over the buns immediately after removing from oven. Allow buns to absorb the syrup before serving.
